Time Stamp

A time stamp is a basic requirement for a data record that is to be used for a process mining analysis. The time stamp can have different formats, for example YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss,ms, i.e. four digits for the year, two for month and day, and two digits each for hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds. Time-related process analyses can be carried out on the basis of the time stamps, for example analyses of throughput times. If no analyses with time reference are to be carried out, time stamps can simply be generated.
